Review: The Choice

The Choice The Choice by Nicholas Sparks
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

And here goes another one down. One more in a similar tragedy filled life in a small town in US of A as told by our lovely Mr. Sparks. This was nice and tugged in all the places but when you are tugged in all the books then it kinda all comes together to not tug as much. But I liked it and like I said I may revisit these books in future where I would only read them one at a time and not in any order.

People who don't read generally ask me my reasons for reading. Simply put I just love reading and so to that end I have made it my motto to just Keep on Reading. I love to read everything except for Self Help books but even those once in a while. I read almost all the genre but YA, Fantasy, Biographies are the most. My favorite series is, of course, Harry Potter but then there are many more books that I just adore. I have bookcases filled with books which are waiting to be read so can't stay and spend more time in this review, so remember I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then just Keep on Reading.

Review: Kafka on the Shore

Kafka on the Shore Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was my very first Murakami read and every bit weird as I expected it to be. This one was just such a wonderful experience and to boot the fact that I was listening to the audiobook with the wonderful voice acting which elevated the experience. So one extra star for the audiobook. This deals with so many things and in the end, it's all about just a character development of the main character. I will certainly try to read it again sometimes in the future but then I would surely miss the wonderful voices which performed with this full production of the book. I loved it now if only someday I can tackle the 46 hours of behemoth which is IQ84 audible production. Maybe in the year 2020 maybe that will be the year when I read the remaining Murakami books I have.

Review: Shadow and Bone

Shadow and Bone Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I had heard about Six of Crows and since it was set in this universe I had to get the trilogy too which I got in Gorgeous Hardcovers. And after many months I finally started and slowly finished this tale which is set in a fictional version of Russia I suppose where the land is divided into two parts with mysterious darkness which holds various monsters and then there are mutants or powered individuals of this world who are called Grisha. This book kept on twisting and turning from one scenario to another. And it was nice but could have been better, of course, that's true for almost every work. Also, the rating is in high 3.somethings :). And just as I am done with this book now I am onto the second book in the series. After all, I want to start reading 'Six of Crows' as soon as possible and hopefully this year, but if not then next year would the year I finally read Six of Crows duology.
